Use of This Website

By using the Restored Roots Counselling website, you agree to use the site and its resources in a respectful, lawful, and appropriate manner.

Educational Resources

The website, digital resources, videos, and Learn to Listen. Learn to Reflect. communication-practice tool are provided for education and skills practice. They do not create a counsellor-client relationship and are not a substitute for emergency care, medical or mental-health treatment, legal advice, or individualized counselling. Do not enter confidential counselling, medical, or crisis information into practice exercises.

Personal Use and Accounts

Digital products and membership access are licensed for the purchaser's personal, non-commercial use only unless written permission is provided. Membership accounts and access credentials may not be shared, transferred, resold, or used by multiple people.

Annual Membership and Automatic Renewal

The Learn to Listen. Learn to Reflect. annual membership is billed in Canadian dollars at the price displayed at checkout. The standard price is $59 CAD per year. When a valid introductory offer is applied, the first year is $39 CAD and later renewal periods are billed at the standard annual price unless a different price is clearly displayed before purchase.

The membership renews automatically each year using the payment method on file until cancelled. You authorize Stripe to charge the applicable annual membership price at each renewal.

Cancellation and Access

You may cancel automatic renewal through the billing-management link in your member account. Cancellation prevents the next annual charge. Access normally continues until the end of the current paid membership period and then ends. Cancelling does not create a prorated refund or credit for unused time, except where required by applicable law.

Payments

Membership payments are processed securely through Stripe. Downloadable products may be sold and delivered through Payhip, which may process the customer information needed to complete the order and provide download access. Other products may be processed through Stripe, PayPal, or another provider identified at checkout. Restored Roots Counselling does not store full payment-card information on this website.

Final Sales and Refunds

All sales are final. Digital downloads, including MP3 audio files, memberships, renewals, and other digital purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased or access has been provided. No full or partial refund is provided for unused membership time, a change of mind, failure to use the service, or cancellation after a renewal charge. This policy applies except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

Local Progress and Technical Requirements

Practice progress may be saved locally in the browser and device used. It may not transfer to another browser or device and may be lost if browser data is cleared. Voice features depend on a compatible browser, device permissions, and third-party browser or device speech services. Restored Roots Counselling cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to every feature on every device.

Service Changes

Reasonable changes may be made to exercises, features, voice allowances, security safeguards, or technical requirements to maintain and improve the service. If a material change affects a paid membership, notice will be provided when reasonably possible.

Copyright

All website content, exercises, written resources, images, branding, videos, and downloadable materials are the property of Restored Roots Counselling unless otherwise stated. They may not be copied, recorded, shared, uploaded, sold, reproduced, or redistributed without written permission.

External Services

This website may use or link to third-party services such as Stripe, PayPal, Payhip, YouTube, and browser-based speech services. Restored Roots Counselling is not responsible for the content, availability, policies, or practices of third-party services.
